What’s included is lots and lots of pictures. There is no set number of pictures and no set amount of time, but the sessions generally last anywhere from 3 to 4 hours and the number of pictures usually ranges between 700-900, though 1000 or more is not unusual. Basically we shoot until we feel like we got it. The pictures are posted online for you to review, generally within 24-48 hours. I'll retouch any two you like, and can also retouch additional pictures for a nominal fee.
I prefer to meet people beforehand, usually for coffee. The purpose of the meeting is for us to get to know each other. I place a premium on chemistry because it makes a difference in the final image. If you feel comfortable with me it will show in the eyes, and the picture will have far more impact. It also allows me to get to know you a little bit, which helps me to really capture something unique about you.
To reserve your headshot appointment you can make a deposit of 100.00. You can pay cash, check, Credit Card or Paypal; email me for details. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy.
The price for a headshot session is $750, but you get a $50 dollar discount if you pay cash, which would be just $700. Payment is due on the day of the shoot. There is also a student discount of $50.00!
Makeup and hair is a separate charge of $175, payable directly to the makeup artist/stylist in CASH, also paid on the day of the shoot.
If you and a friend book your shoot together I deduct $100 dollars. (You don’t have to shoot together, just book together.) So you can each save 50.00.
If you would like all the pictures from your shoot burned onto disc I am happy to provide. It usually takes several DVDs to fit them all, so I have to charge 100 for the time.
