For me, photography is not about taking pictures; it’s about connecting with the subject and create an atmosphere that is comfortable and uplifting. The chemistry between a photographer and the subject always shows in the fnal image. The frst thing people look at when they see your headshot is the eyes. When you feel comfortable, it shows in the fnal photograph. When you feel good, the person you are on the inside is going to shine through. Mostly how I do it is I let my enthusiasm and passion show through. I think it helps people to really be themselves in front of the camera if I do, and I wouldn’t know any other way to be.
